Gerhard Richter is a German visual artist. Richter has produced abstract and photorealistic paintings, as well as photographs and glass pieces. He is considered one of the most important painters of the second half of the 20th century.


The Eagles are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1971 by Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, and Randy Meisner. With five number-one singles, six Grammy Awards, five American Music Awards, and six number one albums, the Eagles were one of the most successful musical acts of the 1970s. At the end of the 20th century, two of their albums—Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975) and Hotel California (1976)—were ranked among the ten best-selling albums in the United States according to the Recording Industry Association of America.


Both The Eagles and Gerhard Richter have a unique and easily recognizable style that has helped them achieve widespread acclaim. And, both artists are known for their prolific output, with Richter having created over 1,000 paintings and the Eagles having released over 20 albums.
